Escort Rapid Fire or Spread from officers
 

I've been reading a bunch of the builds on here and I rarely see officer builds that include Cannon Rapid Fire. Is there some reason that people avoid this skill?

I use it on my defiant retrofit, seems to work well with PvE and PvP it's just that it draws aggro at the same time so you better be prepared for taking extra damage before launching it.

Rapid Fire draws aggro? Don't you mean Scatter Volley, since it tags a whole bunch of targets at once?

I use CRF 2 and CSV 2 + 3 on my Defiant-R, definitely worth having both as each has it's particular uses. Works well in both pve and pvp.

My Jem'Hadar officer has Cannon: Scatter Volley 2 and Cannon: Rapid Fire 3. I put it to good and full use.
