vet boff skill tree?
 
Was discussing this with a fleetmate yesterday... I am curios how the space warfare specialist passive affects its respective skills in the tree if said skills are already maxed. Fleety said there isn't a cap so in theory these skills could go to level 14. Anyone know for sure?

Yes, weapons effectiveness can go beyond what can be nominally allocated in the skill tree.

This is the point of consoles. No one would be bothering to use SIF Generators or Field Emitters if they had already maxed their Structural Integrity or Shield skills, for example, but they remain staples of many builds.

So with the Space Warfare Specialist, you should, if the system is working as intended, be getting higher returns on your weapons.
