Might be helpful if you gave us some details to your computer setup....

It runs on windows 7 64-bit, its got a Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT, the processor is an intel core2 quad cpu 2.83ghz, 4.00GB of ram

it freezes when im doin anything, whether it would be flying trough space or in a mission. It never happens on load screens, login or character selection.

Sounds like it could be overheating issues. Do you have any software installed to monitor the temps of your PC? Anything over 50 C is too high and probably means there are air flow issues.

switch game compatibility to windows xp( sometimes help) , if that doesnt help then try to delete game and install it again( maybe you have broken file).
for overheating im not sure because you have more than enough strong PC(but still check your temperature of PC).

I'm seeing the exact same issue. Game freezing frequently, sometimes right after logon (without even displaying the char selection screen), sometimes after playing for an hour.

Specs:
Win 7 64bit Pro
AMD Phenom II 945, 4 GB RAM, AMD Radeon 7750 1024MB Graphics using Catalyst 12.4

I played in DirectX 11 mode; haven't tried switching to DX9 yet.

Dualbooting to WinXP 32bit solved the issue. Could play for hours without any freezing after that.

Switching to DX9 appears to be alot more stable.

Comparing the specs between TG85 and me, there might be a problem with DX11 and 64 bit Windows. Would be interesting if others could confirm.

Same Problem

I also an having this problem. I am running windows 7 64bit with an intel core2 duo. When I First purchased the game it ran fine. then I stopped playing for about a year. Come back to it and I have this problem. Also it seems like my video card keeps rebooting while playing. I dont have any of these problems with anything else i do on this computer. a little help please

Same problem and similar PC requirements: Windows 7 (32 bits), intel core duo and Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT, the first times i haven?t any problem, the game run "fast" and with great quality, but sinces a few days the game run more "slow" and if i want that run "fast" or "good" i need to changes the video options. Now i play to the game and before that load the game i have a "Purpple screen of death" and it?s freezes all the PC. I don?t know if this problem happen after one of the patch but it?s very frustrating.
