...How do you make one? (/end noob question :P )

You can go as far as Photoshop, or keep it simple and use Paint that comes with Windows. Grab an image you like, or a game PrintScrn and add some text. If you want to keep it even simpler, why not grab one from STO Academy ones ... http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/sigmaker.php

To add the image ....

1) Click on the "User CP" link

2) Click on the "edit your signature" link

3) Upload an image, or provide a link in he "Signature Picture" section

4) Click the "Insert Signature Picture" link and it adds "[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]" in the 'Edit Signature' text box above
