TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - July 25, 2012
 
We will be bringing the Tribble server down for maintenance to apply a new update.

General:
  • Mission Replay is functional once again.
  • Updated Second Wave to resolve an issue that prevented solo players from completing the mission.
  • The Fleet Advanced Escort has returned to the ship store.
  • The Fleet Norgh Bird-of-Prey Retrofit now has the correct default variant in the ship tailor.
  • Officer of the Watch: The KDF Conduct Purser Duties has been updated to specify the supplies required.
  • The 1000 point Tier 1 Military Starbase XP project now properly unlocks for KDF fleets.
  • Resolve an issue that caused the Starbase Incursion second phase to end early.
  • Updated the display name for the Tholian bridge.
  • Removed the non-functional options for fog parameters from custom Foundry backdrops.
  • Resolved an issue that occasionally caused Tholian Radiation Crystals to not appear upon use of a consumable item, yet still consume a charge.
  • Updated the Upgraded Tholian Ground Set Shield.
    • Resolved an issue that caused the "All Energy Damage" reduction mod to reduce damage by an incorrect amount.
      • It has been corrected to the 10% that was intended.
    • An additional "Environmental Damage" reduction mod has been added, which will reduce incoming Cold, Fire, Toxic and Radiation damage by 25%.
      • These damage types are not included in the "All Energy Damage" category.

Only took them 5 months to do (released February 11th, 2012). By this rate, I expect Foundry to be back around Xmas.

Is the inability to finish Second Wave in a team ever going to be fixed? It has only been broken since the mission hit testing and still remains broken on Holodeck.

Six questions: Bugs or Work as intended?
 
1) After completing an instanced mission, the game "forgets" my original position if it was either inside my fleet starbase system or in the interior fleet starbase and instead re-spawns my ship outside of the fleet system in sector space. Is this work as intended? If it is, keep in mind that this causes our fleet system and the starbase interioir to be rather empty most of the time (despite our large fleet).
2) Are the white, untextured blocks in the Federation Fleet Starbase supposed to be a "bar"? Is this work as intended? Will this change with later starbase levels?
3) What about the interaction symbol floating in the middle of the Federation Fleet Starbase central plaza? Is this suppose to serve some purpose in the future?
4) What about many people (including) me complaining about not being able to complete the Officer of the Watch daily requiring you to check on some cadets? For a lot of players, the cadets just won't spawn in the central plaza.
5) Will you rename the "Ops" option in the fleet base turbolift to "Central Plaza"?
6) The audio voice comments during the Fleet Defense mission are lacking their "radio" effect, i.e. in contrast to all other missions, they are crisp, clear (and loud^^). Work as intended?

The game always sets the rumble option to on when I log in.... even if I disable it, click apply and then ok..it is still on. :(

It is seriously annoying me in space combat, sometimes I loose sight of what is going on completely, as everything is shaking around me. :(

Transwarp to Fleet Starbase Buged
 
was in Earth Orbit Transwarpt to Fleet Starbase was some min there then beamed up and was again in Earth Orbit ...(on Holodeck Today)

Excellent! I ran this 3 times and broke at the warp out last week.
Hope we see it on Holodeck with this week patch also ;)
