Crash to desktop issue.
 

I had a crash to desktop while doing Colony invasion.

We'd gotten to the final boss, and while I was fighting him the game crashed completely. I login as quick as I can hoping to making it back in before the mission is over, but when I login I'm greeted with the mission completion screen. So I get fleet marks for successfully completing the mission right? Sorta.... I only got 7 Marks..... apparently 1 for each of the x of 3 bonuses we got.

Also this reminds me.... I keep noticing this issue where i beam out a diplomat the message pops up saying i did it but i somehow miss getting credit for it.

The 7 Marks you received were probably from killing Mook, the Mugato, during the event before you crashed. If you quit the mission (or get kicked out or crash) you don't get any of the end-of-mission awards, such as the bonuses.

so it's a coincidence that it was the same as the number of goals? I can buy that I guess. Wait... do you get the 7 marks before the event concludes?

Yes, you get the 7 immediately upon killing Mook (or 5, if you do the mission outside of the event).
