Laptop question.

I'm looking for a new laptop which will work with STO without all the stutter and with fair resolution. I travel a lot.

Currently I'm using two, an ASUS Netbook which is only good for doing duff missions, not much else. And a Dell Insperon 9300 which has seen it's day. It's a 2.0 with 2 gig of ram and it needs a new screen. Lots of lines. It will work with STO in a pinch but I get tons of stutter.

This is a laptop that I'm looking at;

I'm mainly concerned with the Intel video card.

Anyone think this one will work or have a decent suggestion in the same price range?

Thanks

According to the system requirements, it should be fine with the Intel HD card. It's not in the recommended section, but the game should still run. You might have to adjust some video settings is all.

I run on a Toshiba Satellite 6Gb Ram with no problems or rubberbanding

I believe Intel HD graphics cards in latptops are actually touted to work pretty well in STO as it's part of the chip's optimized games list.

You'd be better off with something that has an Nvidia card.

If that's the case, then this would be better with a 512 nvidia card, I7 quad core, and it's only 10 bucks more.
