Fleet events closer level teaming

Just a quick question for community; who likes the huge difference between levels when going into a fleet event where a va is teamed with a ltc? I think that is a bad idea that can only make the mission fail. I understand the reason, so that low level players can do those missions, but I still don't see the point. Because as a low level player, you end up pretty much fighting with a low tier ship, with low shields, low hull, low number of weapons, low number of abilities, and your contribution to the team is minimal. I would rather see all lt cmdrs in a queue, all commanders in another and so on. Also, the level of opponents may stay the same (so there is no need to re-develop the npcs) just reduce the number. Better this than getting 5-10 fleet marks a match.

The game does try to level match by buffing people's raw stats, but because of the disparity between abilities across ranks it doesn't work well beyond 10 levels, especially in space.

But if we made a queue per rank, then the queues would probably be underpopulated below VA. The game just lets you level too quickly.

I think they should divide them in two.

Lt. - Commander

Captain - VA.

Plus totally EMPTY at VA (there being less active VA's than people think)

I see your guys points, but I would still wait for a queue and have a ballanced match than go as a lt cmdr, with few abilities and few hull (even if I am "upscaled" to a va), the ship stats are same and the abilities available is also same. I think there are more va/lg in queues than other ranks, at least for now, till everybody gets the new toys. Point is that if you're a va you will get less emblems with lower ranks, due to what I mentioned above, and if you are low rank, same thing bc of same reasons, lol.

I hit 520 incursion runs this morning (there are a LOT of me and i have perhaps too much spare time)

I have NEVER seen a full VA team on Fed
I have infact never seen more than 2 VA's at a time unless im running as one myself

Va's are doing nukara not incursion

Now Klingon side i often see 5 LGs

You are correct with klings. Haven't played too much as fed and I can't say. Overall, bad thing w fed is that missions have cool downs and in current state mission fails most time, thus emblems won are pathetic. This should somehow be addressed.

I see plenty of full VA groups, but having recently tried to level a character just by PvE and PvP groups, I can tell you straight out that dividing the Fleet Actions by rank will kill them at lower levels. So it's really not viable unless the whole levelling system is rejigged and it takes longer to level up.

If they scale a group for Commander, at least you'll have a notional chance of being effective with Lt. C and Lt. level ships and kits.

And a competent Captain or RA will contribute no problem to a VA level mission.
