Stasis pistol damage immunity can be reproducably circumvented

Bug: Targets rendered helpless by the secondary fire beam, including players, can occasionally still be damaged.
Testing reveals two methods of reliable reproduction:
1: Apply Fuze Armor either immediately before or at some time during the effect of the Stasis secondary. Observe that the immunity buff is not present on the target's tray. Shoot target with a damage source. Observe that damage is not negated for the duration of the Electrical DOT.
2: Apply Stasis secondary to target. Cast [Chroniton Grenade] on target. Observe that the immunity buff is not present on the target's tray. Shoot target with damage source. Observe that the damage is not negated for the duration of the Chroniton Grenade effect.
Other means may of course be possible but were not confirmed. Note that testing was only done with engi vs engi, so tac powers and sci powers that might affect this were not considered.
The following effects are observed to NOT break the immunity:
Powers cast by the target of Stasis before or during the Stasis effect, plasma DOTs, the resistance to stun procced on target by a stun pistol, the resistance to Fuze Armor and Weapon Malfunction procced by those powers, Weapon Malfunction, energy, kinetic, and physical damage, secondary effect of Borg Prosthetic weapon, Slow effects, Knock effects.
This is a bug that can be quite viciously exploited in pvp (it is trivial to kill a player in a three-second window if you know exactly when that window will be). It would be nice if this could be hotfixed quickly, even if doing so requires a bandaid fix, rather than a correction of the actual problem, for the time being.
Speedy acknowledgement of the issue's existence would also be appreciated.
