Coliseum bug

I am playing Coliseum at the moment and, when I move, the game jumps me back to where I was a minute ago, and it is seriously frustrating. I am playing on a klingon character, and the game also says server not responding. I would appreciate it if the producers and makers of Star Trek Online did something about it and quick.

Major lag im afraid. The bouncing back from 10 feet ahead to 5 feet back is called rubberbanding. A type of lag.

Now this is one hell of a long rubberband, cause it's strill stretching out, and considering the time (10:50 UTC) which means low load usually it's sure not because of server load in general.

I experienced this the other day (only time I've ever had lag in this game), but it cleared up after talking to Slamek in the cell. The first bit on the satellite was fine, and everything after talking to Slamek had no issues, but the first section of the arena area was nearly unplayable.

I've gone through this mission a few times this week due to leveling toons and each time the arena battle rubber-bands. It starts when the TOS fight music starts and doesn't until I'm out in the desert.

Aside from the occasional exchange lag, it's generally smooth sailing for me so this is pretty situational.

I'm glad to see others have this issue and are bringing it up, cause when I had it I got told by some GM that there was nothing wrong with it.

For me it was pretty much like this:

I ended up skipping it and went back at a later point to finish, it is not impossible but very frustrating.

This is still a serious problem. It's happened to me every time iced played the mission. In about 7 tries to finish it because of the rubberbanding. I'm pretty sure Cryptic isn't doing anything about it. It's been an issue for months.

just to reiterate what andyslash said, it's not a problem with this mission, Rubberbanding is an artifact of lag, your computer has a bad connection to the server, it's probably a problem with your ISP

Not when more than one person on a different connection is experiencing the same problem.

It's happening with the fight music. Maybe it's taking up most of the bandwidth.
