10 tac cubes in 10 mins for optional?? no chance
tachyon beams and shield nutralisers way to OP
v'ger probes unbeatable due to 1 hit kill phaser lance and I mean come on.....2 of them for a 5 man team???
all tac cubes come after you all at once in 1st part of the mission, spend over 45 mins on that part that we were supposed to do in 10 mins
so reduce tac cubes to normal ones if you are going to keep 10 in there on elite,
nerf the tachyon beam and shield nutraliser
stop the constant phaser lance from v'ger probes
and deffinatly get rid of the respawn penalty timer

Wait don't call for a nerf yet, this sounds like fun and possibly doable with a premade team all coordinating their ships/builds in advance of this.

Yeah that sound pretty stupid - even the best 5 man premade is going to take 1 - 2 minutes minimum for 1 Elite tactical cube - that would be 5 DPS heavy hitters going full on with every power

try doing that 10 times in a row would be impossible with cooldowns - but with the others attacking - No freaking way.

the thing is it might be possible for a team of 5 B'rels to do this by using dpb3 trico mines while cloaked.

Sounds like they made a mission that requires
A tank cruiser and a science ship for crowd control

What a huge dissapointment this new stf is.Why would i spent time playing this when i can enjoy much more playing infected.Only good thing is that it's still in testing, but unless difficulty is really tuned down more i cant see my self playing much of this.I dont think good gameplay is when 5 players wait 2 minutes to respawn and then die again in 2 seconds from some super beam.

Agreed - being constantly plasma spammed and one shotted doesn't make me want to play it again. It makes me want to avoid!

this mission the way it is, has made oddy totely usless im a elite commander on all my toons full xii consoles and my team was not realy makeing any head way. mission took 45 mins to get to the queen ship it it just kept killing everyone i can tank 2-3 cubes in KASE all at once not a chance in this mission. thanks for nerfing the oddy with this mission

No offense, but just because you suck doesn't mean that the mission is impossible. It is very much doable with all the optionals even on Elite. Just because it's challenging doesn't mean you need to call for a nerf already.

Practice some more, find yourself a GOOD team, and I assure you the mission is going to be very much possible to beat. And don't even start the mission if you're gonna assume it's just a simple dps pew pew pew for a few minutes. There's some planning and strategy involved: the tac cubes need to be handled one by one (and they CAN be killed in less than a minute each... so quit that talk about "best pre-made teams can't do it"), the unimatrix ships' beam won't fire if you're near the diamond (it's even stated in a boff tip, but that requires actual reading AND thinking! teh horror!), and the queen herself requires teammates to stay at different distances, so they won't all die from the same FBP, Aceton, scramble or anything else she's using.

The only thing that does need to be tweaked - and Borticus already confirmed it's gonna be - is the 1hit-KO Isometric Charge. There's no way to survive that even for a tank, especially since the very FIRST target hit blows up immediately - and the damage only rises from that point.

So seriously, practice some more, check your build and equipment, then try again. With a good team. The mission is challenging in a good way and that's what the game needs at the moment. Me and my friends are already bored with all the previous STFs nerfed to sillyness. CSE was challenging after it was released, but then people like you started complaining so Cryptic nerfed it to a degree, that it can now be done with optional by only 2 people.

And if you dislike challenge, then feel free to grind ISE all the time. With the way the new reputation system works now nobody forces you to do this particular mission at all.

well I was in a fleet defiant, we had the 1000 day vet fed chimera and 1000 day klink ship and 2 more escorts, and the borg wiped the floor with us, all my weapons were MK XIi borg, rapid fire II and III, 2 pattern omegas, tac team with purple tac team doff, and 3 cannon doffs, was ridiculous,
