Devs: Any plans for more Destroyers?
 

Hey Devs, any plans for more fed destroyers?

Now I currently own a Mobius on two of my toons but would love something that'd feel more Star Fleet like but with similar stats (like the Chimera).

I'd also like to see more variants of the Chimera. It's a great looking ship but who doesn't like a little variety? :D

The Mobius, despite being called a destroyer, is really a regular escort. It's not that similar to the 'destroyer' ships.

I really have a hard time looking at the Chimera as anything other then a Escort, doesn't have any more hull then some of the other Fleet Escorts (Fleet Patrol, Steamroller, Fleet Advanced, etc). I would classify the Defiant actually a Destroyer, because technically speaking Destroyers are Destroyer Escorts, that escort Battleships and Carriers.

Funny thing about the Chimera, its special abilities do not rely on maneuverability. If you up the hull, lower its turn, it would be just as effective as a tank, especially with that universal Lt.Cmr. slot. In fact, design wise, it makes more sense as Light Cruiser.
