Temporal Entertainer Doff ability
 
Has anyone actually tested the temporal Entertainer doff?

I'm curious to know if it reduces perception of friendly and enemy targets to 5km for 6 seconds.

Last I had heard from the Cryptic about this, they weren't sure if it did both or just enemies.

Enemies I wouldn't find very useful. Reducing perception of friendlies, however, is entirely different.

it effects whoever you are shooting it works great in pve if you are a squishy escort but in pvp not so much most don't even notice it when i used it on them.

Were you within 5km of your target in PvP?

Have you done a controlled test? Say, have 4 people in a private match, 2 on each side. Have your target's team mate and your other team mate sit 10km outside of your target. Then start firing and see if your target can no longer see team mates and enemies?

Fleet mates and I tested this DOFF, and it is pretty useless.

It does not reduce the perception of your team mates. Just enemy targets.

We did a 2 on 2, one was the attacker, one was the target, and the rest of us were a little over 10km away from the target.

When the proc kicked in, only the attacker's team mate disappeared. The attacker and the target's team mate were still visible.

Since, I believe, Borticus said he wasn't sure if it made team mates invisible, now it's been confirmed that it does not.

That's too bad, this DOFF would have been a nice wrench to throw into team heal dynamics.

yea my test was the same the guy i hit with it lost my team for about 1 sec
