BNPs -- turn in or keep?

So, I run elite STFs daily and now I'm sitting on a nice pile of neural processors (for me at least). I hear they're used to get MKXII gear. My question is, how much is required for a given project? Do I need to stockpile them all? I'm tier 3 omega right now, so at the moment I'm not using them for anything. If I turn say half (I have 60+) in for dilithium, will I find myself short later? I wouldn't want to reach a higher tier and find that I don't have enough processors for projects. They don't seem to hard too get, I'm just afraid that I'll regret cashing them in later when I should have saved them for projects.

Last time I checked, a Dev said that the MK XII set parts require 10 BNP each, so 30 BNP per set. Omega, MACO/KHG, Adapted MACO/KHG makes 90 for all space sets and 90 for all ground sets so at a guess I'd say we need 180 BNP for all sets if we wanted them all.

Not sure if the MK XII Borg Assimilated set needs BNP though.

How can you be that dilithium hungry do you buy zen with DL?

I'm *always* dilithium hungry. I'm trying to take advantage of the low exchange rates before they go back up, so I'm trying to churn out as much dil as I can.

I'm also too cheap to spend money for zen at the moment. The whole "poor college student" stereotype is very true in my case :P

Well OP, my thought I've been having about BNPs is:

Keep what you intend on using on Mk XII sets, and anything past that, turn into Dil.

1hr of work @NYS Min Wage 7.25 = 7250 Zen
Lol wut

$7.25 isn't even 1,000 zen..

7,250 zen is $72.50, or 10 hours of work at $7.25 an hour.

It costs me $65 nz dollars for 5300 Zen. I most certainly do not earn that in one hour.
