Post your favorite Star Trek clips.
We all know Youtube is a great place for finding clips from just about any episode in all of Trekdom.
So, post your favorite, and perhaps a short explanation as to why it's your favorite. Since I started the thread, I'll start I like this clip because it shows what actual starship operations are like without the computer doing all the work. Everything's manual, and the crew is actually calling out sequences. This is very similar to real-life maneuvers on a modern day submarine, and in my opinion, this is one of the most technical, but most "correct" moments in all of Star Trek. Defiant's shake-down cruise, post-computer-failure. One of my favorite moments in Trekdom. |
Good idea for a thread I think. :)

I usually watch this after I tweak a new escort build.

For the record, I would never do this to a Constitution, I just think this clip is hilarious.

This clip was kind of touching to me because it really reminded me of the love/hate relationship I have with my own brother, especially around the time this episode first came out. And of course, who can forget Ensign Ricky? |
Favorite scene out of all of the Star Trek shows-
Without a doubt- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJudJ9S579A A close second- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOXT22Ghouw When TNG first aired I didn't like Picard as much as Kirk. But in this scene he's just plain awesome. Then again there's always this one. Star Trek is full of brash Captains. Brash Lieutenants are fun too. I wonder if the writers knew what BOHICA means. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFcQYLJ_zWk |
Who hasn't played this scene out with there BOP?

In my mind after all these years, I still seriously believe that Kirk didn't steal her, but she silently willed them all on, to find a lost member of her crew, a crew who cared and loved her as much as she did them, and treated her more than just a lady. Bet the Excelsior was pissed thou. But she forgave them later. :D |
Be cautious those nice people at CBS and paramount do not like You tube clips
