I was thinking, since the ground cloaking is working as intended. I think that other power for the eng or sci kits should be cloaked too. But the same things such as tricorder scan or gamma tribble could still find them. I think the pyro kit, motars and orbitals shouldnt have animations that can be regularly seen, unless using the same steps that you can use to find cloakers.

I only think that its fair right?

I forgot to add....if you target the motar that is firing...right about when you are about to kill it.....it logs out then comes back in.

Lets get it in the works.

Also don't forget to have the motar say in zone chat that it had a disconnect and that's why it logged out

You want to talk about being fair. How about how players can spec into resisting science abilities like stasis field. Which is suppose to hold for 6 sec, depends on how you are speced. I want to be able to spec into energy weapons resistance., that way ambush and other heavy damage dealing abilities have no effect. If people are going to be able to make skills and abilities useless why not make them all useless to level the playing field. There is No way to resist the one shot, but holds, slows,and stuns can be. I say take the willpower skill out of the game, and make all abilities work against everyone.

I like the idea of being resistant to both better than being vulnerable to both. One-shot kills are unfun, but so is being controlled until you die. The solution isn't to add more things that are no fun.

I just want ground pvp to be competitive and fun. There is no competition when you spawn into a map and get double uncloaked on repeatly. Then once you do catch the cloaker, right before you are about to kill them...they leave the match.

If you log out it should close the session and return you to the last sector map you were in.

logging out in PvP should get you an hour ban also, just like the STFs. Buy there seems to be no good way to determine if it was on purpose, so a better idea would be leave your character in the world for 30 seconds to die like other MMOs do.

If you could hold, slow, or expose them. Like the skill says there might be less people trying to gank you. I don't mind the cloaking, I have a problem on its implantation. There should be a way to positively see them, such as a tricorder scan, or support drones. This now makes it a timing issue. Even one shots are not bad, except when some one decal oaks on you from the rear all buffed up and get the flank damage also. There is no defense for this, except make a way for people to see them, or make it were people can spec into resistance. Tacs do need to be able to do more damage, they need an advantage over people some how. If they did not have this then eng and sci would be able to tank them out all the time. I seek balance. I also would invite any Dev or GM to PvP on the ground and tell me it is fair.

What needs to be removed is the Threat Control in the spec tree. It's useless. Escorts still take aggro with the DPS, and Engys will take it on the ground with their toys. It should be replaced with a perception option.

Willpower Skill
Threat genration skill has a small innate bonus, resstance based powers are also available to all captain choices depending on kit
