Is there an other way to complete the fleet special project when the holiday commodities sold out without buying appreciation packages for hundreds of lobi chrystals?

More importantly, is there going to be a way to cancel the project once the event finishes and it becomes impossible to complete as the OP outlined?

you can buy the ornaments on the exchange if you select the rarity under the all items tab. I would buy them now because once the event ends supply will dry up.

Those ornaments are going to get very valuable on the exchange :D

I recall seeing a dev comment in a thread when the project started up that they would have some way to deal with this, but no details. Whether that was a cancel button, some kind of autocomplete, something else? Don't know.

Just go into winter wonderland and explain that you need to buy a large number of the winter items. Some players have spent hours farming them and they are looking to sell them. I got 200 commons for 2 million EC and 200 of each uncommon for about 6 million EC. (A total of 8 million EC). Earning 8 million EC is not at all hard to do. There are also some players willing to work out a discount on items. Some players will trade contraband for beads at a 1:1 ratio.

WHich is the only reason many people are still playing in the wonderland after getting their ships.

If I could undo running the SB breen hologram mission I certainly would, it is very ugly and tasteless, soon as you enter the main room it is sitting there with a big 2012 written on it.. great, very star trek. And like anything, you can turn it off but it won't stay off, like the tribble, or the DJ, the instance resets and all information is lost.
