Question on enemy ship not firing back
 
Hello, I've recently saw a few missions where enemy ships don't fire back when you fire at them. How can one achieve this?
Is it done via animations? Excuse me, if I am asking on perhaps simple things, but I am completely new to foundry, tried my first mission 1 week ago. I can't see any animations in the list, but I've read on this forum that it is a bug.
I want to create mission with some amount of ships to be able to meassure DPS as DPS in STFs depends on others in the team and on ship health too (sometimes one have to get away to heal).

To set a mob so that it can't fire back, set its behavior to "Timid Creature".

The lack of any animations is a bug. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

I'm assuming this is also how you make destructible objects in space (timid creature + reskin?)

You can't reskin a ship as an object; only other ships.

However, it is possible to put a ship inside an asteroid or some other prop, and set the prop to despawn (and an explosion FX to spawn) when the ship is destroyed. Unfortunately, it's hard to position it right so that the player can target the ship.
