Is it possible to cancel something in reputation system?

Hello. I clicked on a Romulan ongoing diplomatic efforts before knowing it gave naff all when I have hardly any Romulan Marks. Is there any way of cancelling this. I think its a no but thought I would check. I am struggling getting the Romulan marks hence why asking.

Nope, no way to cancel. Start tagging Romulan rabbits and saving people from a salt-vampire-infested mining town.

nope, currently no reputation or fleet projects can be cancelled, if it's any consolation, I did the same thing with the Omega version of that, I know how you feel. Fortunately for you, Rom marks are a whole lot easier to come by then Omega Marks, run a couple dailies, or raise some Epohhs, you'll recoup your losses in no time.

Edit: ninja'ed

They really should give someway to escape, since mistakes do happen. Maybe a dev will read this and try to fix it.

You..do realize that there's a confirmation prompt that says once you start a reputation project, it cannot be changed or cancelled?

Confirmed: there is no way to cancel ongoing reputation projects once they are selected - at least not currently. The Devs were discussing the possibility of this as a future feature - both for Fleet and Reputation projects and at the loss of everything already spent into the cancelled project. They do not seem to have come to a conclusion so far.

As already posted, do the daily Epoh tagging on New Romulus and raise Epohs - a fast and time-effective way to get Romulan Marks once You do the mission on a regular basis. Or do the daily Tau Dewa sector patrol, You can get a lot of loot selling for around 200 to 300K eC from these in addition to the Romulan Marks - especially when You patrol with a group of players. Or help defending the miners against the salt vampires in the group mission - preferably inform Yourself what needs to be done in that mission before joining in.

Thanks for the responses people. Does anyone have any guides or links to the daily missions such as the Epohs. I have thousands of omega marks from before season 7 but no Romulan marks. Will take your advice.

Here's what I do to get romulan marks:

Tau Dewa Sector Patrol - 60 marks
Epohh tagging - 400 marks every 5-7 days
Mine trap - 20+ marks depending on success, PvE queue 20 player repeatable no cool down

The Tau Dewa Sector Patrol daily can be got anywhere when you are in Tau Dewa sector space, click on the Subcommander Mivek button on the lower right hand side of your screen. This is a "patrol" mission, the easiest one is the trading game at the Nequencia System, do that 5 times and you complete the patrol mission.

Epohh tagging is done on the New Romulus System planet, here's a good guide I found:
http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/sh...d.php?t=469481

There are basically four stages, run the mission to catch 30 of them for maximum reward of 4 tags (be sure to be in a group, check zone channel and join others), then run the DOFF assignment to turn 4 tags into 1 (success) or 3 (critical) Epohh research reports. When you get 5 Epohh research you can buy a pup from the store, then run the DOFF assignments to grow it into an elder, then sell it for 400 marks.

Mine trap is a PvE 20 player ground mission you can run continuously, it is really easy and quite good fun. There are other PvE missions but I find them boring and not worth the time for the reward. Watch a you tube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FjN89V2wRc) so you know what to expect, after you have done a couple you'll get the idea. You can get 20-40 marks each time depending on how many civs are rescued.

Good luck!

The one to turn in marks for dilithium?
In that case it doesn't matter because in that category there aren't any other projects to run.
Just don't fill it.

I recommend getting a group with reliable people you know (Fleet, friends, whatever) rather than through Zone. Twice now I've grouped through Zone chat with asshats who go off half-cocked and wreck my tagging numbers. I had one group invite me while another member started, so they were done and stopped while I was still at 17, screwing my numbers over.

One group of inconsiderate asshats will cost you a day because you'll end up with 1-3 Active Tags that are absolutely worthless to you, since you should be getting 4 Active Tags each day, allowing you to launch the assignment every day.

Luckily I've hit T5 and gotten all the gear I want (full Singularity Harness, 2x Elite Scorps, unlocked Mk XII beams/turrets/DHCs) so I don't tag Epohhs anymore, saving me from dealing with selfish inconsiderate jerks.

You need that category to claim the next Tier of reputation. :P
