Like topic said. It is abusrde how mines can crit and blow up ship in less than sec. Not even Borg can do that. Devs should check chaincrit bug already! It is not possible to get 10-20 x 50.000 damage per mine. Belive me, not even stacking resisstance can hold that. Any news on changing mines ?

You can outrun it, shoot it down and avoid them.

As has been stated ad nausieum, one mine critting is not an issue a cluster critting is too much.

The Borg cubes though can kill in one shot as well, though thats another issue all together.

Its not really a bug....

Its working as the devs that created the system that no longer work there setup. (its my opinion that it was done to control server lag more then anything) It was never a major problem... mines where never strong enough to insta kill anything. Its more recent that they decided things like tricobalts could have more then one out.

Really the proper fix for trics if crit linking is unfixable for server issues... would have been to undo the tricobalt pattern operation... and they also need to consider that when they create things like cluster mines torps.

Allowing such a miniscule portion of overall gameplay to dictate how something functions everywhere would be asinine. Maybe a PvP-driven pass would be justified if any substantial amount of PvP options were added.



That is neither a flame, troll, or drug reference, but I'm sure someone will warn me for it and then hide behind their unaccountable anonymity. :rolleyes:
