Starship and Ground Threat Control
I'm in the process of building a Fed klingon engineer tanker. I've read alot about Threat control being broke as a skill and not pulling agro as well as dps. I'm starting this convo to ask if anyone has seen an improvement on this topic or if i should just focus on putting skill points towards offensive skills to pull agro as a tank.
Space threat control has improved with the new romulan +threat science consoles and the new Dominion duty officer power "Delta Taunt" with up to 300% increased threat generation with Attack Pattern Delta. You shouldn't have a problem pulling threat if you have 6 points in threat generation.
Now ground don't bother with threat control. The AI shoots the first target in range and the easiest way to shift that threat is to melee them.
