Is there a Lexicon? I play STO (Star Trek Online) when it first started, but took a long break and came back recently.
I have been reading many "threads" and I can't understand some of it.
I know what DoFF, Boff, but what about all the other stuff like skills/equipment? (like skills are all in abbreviation)
I figure I can post on this thread to find out on what half of this stuff means. (please post stuff refer to STO abbreviation only :) )
I presume STOWiki would have everything you need to know about weapon / gear modifiers and such?
they do, but what does THIS mean?
Lt Tac: TS1/TT1, BFAW2
Ensign Tac: TT1
Cmdr Engi: ET1, EPtW2, EPtS3, Aux2SIF3
LtCmdr Engi: EPtA1, RSP1, EPtW3
Lt Sci: HE1, TSS2
Conn Officer (TT CD red)x2
All I see is a bunch of letters. I am hoping there is a page explaining what does this mean.
TS1 = Torpedo Spread I
TT1 = Tactical Team I
BFAW2 = Beam Fire At Will II
ET1 = Engineering Team I
EPtW2 = Emergency Power to Weapons II
EPtS3 = Emergency Power to Shields III
Aux2SIF3 = Auxiliary to Structural III
EPtA1 = Emergency Power to Auxiliary I
RSP1 = Reverse Shield Polarity I
EPtW3 = Emergency Power to Weapons III
HE1 = Hazard Emitters I
TSS2 = Transfer Shield Strength II
Conn Officer (TT CD red)x2 = 2x Conn Officers with Tactical Team Cooldown reduced
DCEx2 = 2x Damage Control Engineers
WCEx1 = 1x Warp Core Engineer
Sounds like you're trying to duplicate somebody else's build without understanding it...
Lieutenant Tactical: Torpedo Spread 1 or Tactical Team 1, Beam Fire at Will 2
Ensign Tactical: Tactical Team 1
Commander Engineering: Engineering Team 1, Emergency Power to Weapons 2, Emergency Power to Shields 3, Auxiliary to Structural Integrity Fields 3
Lieutenant Engineering: Emergency Power to Auxiliary 1, Reverse Shield Polarity 1, Emergency Power to Weapons 3
Lieutenant Science: Hazard Emitters 1, Transfer Shield Strength 2
Conn Officer (Tactical Team Cool Down Reduction)x2
Damage Control Engineer x2
Warp Core Engineer x1
I am trying to "study" build, but there are a LOT out there. So I am trying to see patterns, maybe something that I can use. I get lost in the lingo and have no clue what I am reading.
That was one of many example builds I see on the forum. Many people start using abbreviation and some don't make sense to me.
Thanks for the clarification.
Sorry, tlamstrike, you've been ninja'd :P
