Question regarding the Tactical Escort Retrofit
 

I guess it's worth mentioning before I explain my problem/question that:

I acquired the Tactical Escort Retrofit (on my tactical officer) in 09/10 (I don't remember exactly when), but it was before PWI bought Cryptic Studios - which was before they made you pay for everything with real world money.

Another thing worth mentioning: I can claim the Tactical Escort Refit - Sao Paulo (for people of captains rank) but that is not the same as the Tactical Escort Retrofit. Now on to my problem.

I have the Tactical Escort Retrofit unlocked on my tactical officer

However, on my science officer, this doesn't seem to be the case.

What do I do?

Sounds like you got this ship with the Vice Admiral token before F2P.

If so, that is not an account unlock. It would only be unlocked for the character that was able to buy it.

Also, your Tactical officer will not be able to get the Fleet variant without actually buying the ship.

All depends if you purchased the refit using VA token or used the free ship token when reaching vice admiral as these methods do not unlock a ship account wide.

Well, you won't get the discount but you can still buy the Fleet ship for 4 FSM's.

If you have enough EC to buy fleet modules off the exchange then use them to get the superior fleet version. You don't get the cloak but there are better consoles that you would use before the cloak, which you need to be out of red alert to use.

Oh and if you need to get it from a fleet send me a mail in game and I'd be happy to give you assistance. My handle is @bpharma.

If you didn't buy the VA version with zen, it won't be unlocked across all characters, nor will you get the fleet discount.
