The Listening Thread

Since I'm as guilty as anyone for the bad vibes in these here forums, I feel that I would to start a thread that will be filled with joy and interesting things.

What are you listening to? Right now or the last time you stuck some headphones on? (YouTube links and explanations are welcome cuz I like to find new music.)

I've been listening to Jake Bugg a fair bit recently. I find his retro stylings, classic voice, and ability to sing like someone far older than him quite appealing.

How about you?

...

p.s.- If someone jumps on and screams "I love Justin Bieber"? Just let it slide...

I recently added my bad religion and pennywise stuff to my ipod. I have no idea why.

Last up was.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPnel7P8jek.

I've noticed that the older I get, the more different kinds of music I can enjoy listening to..

Closest to my heart is probably Metal/Hard Rock and Dance/R&B (I think we have too many genres lol). And I remember in my teens I would flee the room if someone put on something like country or opera, but later I gradually started to like country, and now I can even tolerate some opera. I like anything new once or more if I think it's good, and I like re-mixes and dubstep.

Hm, some link.. If you want to hear some pretty epic violin music / dubstep and covers I'd recommend checking out Lindsey Stirling.

EDIT: Came to think of opera and had to add this link, watch the whole thing. :)

i almost got no restrictions regarding to music (except most mainstream:rolleyes:) and am open minded for new things (punkrock, hiphop, easy-listening, jazz, classic, electronic music in whole, etc, "preferred" :D).... there are no bad artists, there are only bad songs.
for this one no explanations needed, klick it and enjoy a real artist! :)

BLITZ - Bleed

Bleed - You are bleeding to death
But from the outside you look so good
And inside you've rotted away
And you won't know until that day
When we have drained you
It will be too late
To save your skin
And alter your face
And a little time is all that we need
And now we are watching you bleed...

My musical tastes are pretty broad, encompassing everything from Royksopp to the Rolling Stones and everything in between... My favorite kind of music is probably easy-listening Jazz, but my favorite era for music (and everything else really) is late 60s-early 70s
