Question about reputation marks

Is it possible that you Devs could pop in a currency exchange device for Omega marks? The Romulans have SO many ways to boost the amount of marks you get but nothing for Omega. Maybe some kind of currency exchange for BNP's?

Completely not necessary. We already get enough BNP and Omega marks as it stands (I understand it might not be the same for you, but it's true in the big picture, even for casual players). And we can't refine over eight thousand dil a day, so what's the point? 1hr of playtime everyday is enough to get enough dil to refine 8k and still be able to grind for your endgame gear. You might not get your item in 2 days, but it sure as hell won't take more than a month.

If you include the grind for reputation, that might be a different story. But still, it doesn't take long to get enough omega marks to start the projects, even higher tier ones.

I didnt mention anything about Dillithium.....Im talking trading in BNPs for Omega marks. The only way that you can get the amount of omega marks you need is running elites....and since I do not belong to a large fleet it makes it a horrible grind on constant fails trying to finish out my reputation.

Just goes to show that you can't please everyone.

My only recommendation is that you read and learn about elite tactics which are all over the forum and on stowiki.org (they're really not that hard). Make sure you have a good sturdy dps producing build, most of the time that's a problem for players. No you don't need high end gear to perform well, you can most definitely get by with >mk xi rare gear on elite. Do NOT neglect your build, skill tree or your boff setup (respec if you need to) and ensure the synergy in your build is coherent. Once you have managed that, you will find that most elite runs are a breeze. Ground might be an exception because of the frequency modulator problem, which makes you fire less and make the elite run unbearably long but not impossible to finish. Whatever you might think, communication and coordination is key to winning elite stfs. If you're all over the place, failure is guaranteed. Once you get that part, grinding for elite won't be too much of an issue for you. And your omega marks will pile up and you will wonder what the heck you were doing wrong before.

I do feel for you if you have to pug though, those can be a bit problematic hehe. Just know one thing, teamwork will almost always save the situation even with total strangers.
