I cant hea anything from sto, but any other game i play is fine?

Ditto. I have an ASUS computer and my sound works well for everything except Star Trek Online. :(

My dxdiag says I have Realtek High Definition Audio (which came with the computer). Anyone have a solution? I went into the game Audio options and changed all volumes to 100% hoping for something, but alas, it was not meant to be. :(

Try updating your drivers. Theyre over a year old.

I also have a Realtek sound card, and I updated the driver as suggested in this thread, but apparently that didn't do the trick. Any other suggestions? I would rather save replacing my otherwise perfectly good card for last resort.

I have a sound max digital sound card...no sound...and Im not seeing any help in the forums. I just updated my drivers, and still no sound. Sound is working in other games and apps like normal. POst about 4 times with no responses. People keep telling me to update realtek and I dont even have that:mad::mad::mad:

try updateing the drivers for your sound card from the manufactures website for instance i have a creative xfi card which means i would go to www.creative.com to get my drivers for realteck you go to there website and so on and so on if that doesn't seem to work try unistalling and reinstalling with the new drivers, if that doesn't work try uninstaling and reinstalling the game, also try to make sure that the game is acutually look for the right way to output the sound otherwise you could do everything under the sun and you still won't get sound.

Cmon guys...can you tell me where I can update soundmax digital drivers at?? 3 days and no sound. I preordered this game, and I want to cancel it if I cant have sound. I dont have realtek so please stop telling me to up date realtek. My posts on MY card not having sound have been ignored all together. Any help would be great
