The Foundry Roundtable Episode 8: The Woody Valleys of New Romulus

Welcome to the Foundry Roundtable, a weekly podcast dedicated to Foundry missions, mission building and other UGC issues starring Foundry authors Drogyn1701, Markhawkman , Hippiejohn and Greendragoon. Our guest this week is Woody_Valley.

In Episode 8 we discuss Romulans... a lot, KDF costume options, the next Foundry Challenge, realism in writing and more.

listen to it here and here:

Missions discussed (high-rated, highly played missions for a change):
First Cause, Then Effect by RogueEnterprise
Captain Revo's five-part mission series (Begins with Worst of All Worlds)
and Markhawkman was able to play some Neverwinter Foundry missions!

Other notes:

We do have the disadvantage of recording before the ask Cryptic came out, so keep that in mind.

I wonder if the question about Foundry was skipped because they haven't decided yet? It makes sense to me to skip a question insted of saying "I don't know".

Kind of bothers me though that they picked a question about the silent enemy and said "we can't answer that." what was the point of even picking that question?

Well... yes and no... He did say something about them, and while very evasive, and vague, he did say more than "I can't tell you". Namely that the stories concerning them will be tailored towards Romulans, and NOT crossfaction content.

EDIT: oh yeah, I was looking at the Grethor props today and noticed that they have an odd characteristic. The ones with a stone platform on top will make a perfectly neat tile pattern no matter how you arrange the peices. Odd, but very useful!
