Partially No Video.

I went through the entire process of downloading and installing the beta, which went off without a hitch. I ran through the loader, which patched the game in the blink of an eye. All was good till I tried running the game. At first it loads up fine, I see the Crypic Logo, followed by the Atari Logo afterwards. I see the loading bar th the bottom too. When that loading bar gets to about half, the screen blacks out and then I see the wonderful Federation Logo splayed across the screen. At which it sits there, until music starts to play. The thing is when the music starts to play, the only thing I see is a nice black screen, my mouse, and two buttons in the top right-hand-corner.

The game just sits there, playing its soundtrack at me, taunting me. I let the game sit for a good 5-10 minutes, and it didn't even crash, it just continued to play its music. I had to bring up the taskamanger to close it.

I'm running

Win7 Home Premium
ATi 2900 Pro
Phenom 9600 Agena

All of my drivers are up to date as well.

I have been reading a lot of posts about display issues all dealing with the ati video cards which is leading me to beiieve that its a ati driver issue or that the game was apperently built with playing on an nvida based graphics system which seems unlikly...so try an older ati driver and try turning off some visual features in the grapics card driver software.
