Epilepsy Warning - Loading screen flashes rapidly
 

The background to loading screens flash really badly. Some flash from graphic to white and back very rapidly, and others the foreground flashes on and off rapidly to only display the background. The UI itself during loading (Text and progress bar) does not flash.

Although I don't have epilepsy, it hurts my eyes and I'm worried about users that do have epilepsy as this could enduse fits. I'm running nvidia 9800GTX+ with the latest drivers.

FYI I am not recieving stuttering issues on the ground even though I am on latest drivers, although lag makes this occur as expected. May have something to do with my I7 and 6gb of ram making run faster than some. I don't know though. Could be to do with the communication between ram, CPU and graphics card with the stuttering, hence drivers make a difference by rolling back for those who do get this problem.

Although I never get the foreground flashing.

After I have logged in and chosen a character, the first loading screen appears and seems to overlay the "choose Charater " background picture. There is a small section of the previous background picture still visible at each horizontal edge of the screen, this section flashes quite severely.

Graphics Card = ATI HD 4870 ( 512mb ) , with current drivers i think

at screen res 1680 x 1050 ( Desktop 16 : 10 )

Atm, I get no other display related errors.

Yeah, background flashes on loading *sometimes* for me as well. GeForce 220.

yea the flashing on the load screen is crazy and hopefully is getting fixed

Same problem only occurs when going from character selection screen into game (sides flash character selection screen, center looks like normal loading screen, not flashing)

I also frequently have this issue on the initial load from the character selection screen.
