Fatal Error Decompressing data

The game has been pulling a fatal error and crashing for the last couple of days. It throws up a window that reads:

"Fatal Error: Error decompressing data. Verifying Files in the launcher may fix this issue.:

Technical Details: Error decompressing data. Verifying Files in the launcher may fix this issue.:
Texture_Library/Costumes/Avatars/Uniforms/M_Helmet_Elite_Starfleet_02_S.Wtex:"

Its had this exact same error and crashed 5 times since the patch on Thursday. I'm only logging in to do the CE event right now but its crashed nearly every time. The error subit window never gets an error code ID so the game just sits there running in the background till I kill it.

Doing a complete Verify does not seem to help as it will crash promptly after doing so.

Getting really annoying. I've had this issue before and it fixed itself eventually but now its happening during a limited time event. =/

The Fatal Error Decompressing data means that the file is getting corrupted, either on the hard disk, or in memory. To correct the problem, you're going to have to track down what is causing the data corruption...

Possible causes...
  • Hard disk getting ready to die
  • Lose Cables or PC cards
  • Overclocked, Overheated, Undervolted, bad or failing RAM
  • Interference from Anti-Virus Utility, or Malicious Trojan/Virus
  • etc. etc...
