Steam and Lifetime Upgrade

Hello um heh sorry to bother everyone but I use steam to play Star Trek Online because
my computer for some reason refuses to work with the Pander thing that is downloaded
when you try to install the game directly from the site.
So I used Steam to do it and haven't had much trouble, um my question is can I still buy
the Lifetime Offer and will it still work for me?

I ask because when I buy Zen from the store and try to transfer it shows don't have any
characters so I have to get Zen through the Steam Wallet thing.
So I am worried if I buy the Lifetime Offer will I fail to receive any of the benefits from it?
I really don't want to spend such a large sum of money for nothing.

I play on steam..and I got lifetime..so yes, it will work for you..since you buy life time through the website.

Oh thank god for that, I so really really want to get that life time while it's till just about in
budget (well with a few tightening of the ol'belt hehehehe!) Thank You so much for putting
my mind at rest on this, so again Thank You!

Let's see the discount offer remains in effect until June should give me the time to scrap the
money together and buy it.

Just to use this as a general Steam issues thread for a moment, I've downloaded it from Steam, but created my account post download, so it started downloading something else from this site, am I borked for stopping said download?

Nah, that was probably just the regular installer non-Steam players use. You can ignore it.
