Carrier with Player Controled pets. D:
I haz an idea for a fun fight. :D
A Carrier fight between two carriers, in which they each get a team of eight fighters to fight along side them. The two carriers, and all eight fighters are player controled, and the fighters are limited to using thier NPC counterpart's equipment. The fighters can follow the lead of their carrier and attack, or defend thier carrier to prevent an enemy team from scoring.
Carriers can only equip Shield Healing Drones, this will create chaos. (thats the point)
Fighters must only use the weapons that thier ship comes equiped with, so no toy consoles.
Points are only secured for kills of the carrier, so fighter kills are ignored. First to 3 kills wins.
Fighters may use any BOff they like or any mix of Abilities that come from BOffs.
To touch on this again, no MACO set bonus, no Rommie set bonus... no abilites for fighters.
Carrier's may use any toy they see fit, in fact I encourage it.
Carrier's may not have thier player controled pets using BOP's for klinks... 8 BOPs would be Overkill... so no BOPs... only fighters.
Captains of Fighters may use any inate abilities they have, so yes you could be SNB spammed to hell and back... But your Player Controled Fighters can throw a Sci team on you if they like.
This seems like fun, if you want to participate... Maybe we can find a way to organize it.
Hell... this would give me a reason to blow the dust off of my KDF Vo'Quv... I will play this out if it gains traction
We did this last year, had 4 carriers and a bunch of ppl in fighters, it was awesome in shuttles but the carriers had a boring time lol.
Ha figures somebody would have done it. Especially with all the fighters gaining cloaks, Sneak attacks might enchance the gameplay.
But we will see if it does gain traction, since fighter pilots are what is hard to find.
I had always hoped they would do pets like the MasterMinds of CoV.
