Embassy Romulan Boff Unis

Apologies in advance, if this thread is in the wrong forum location, wasn't sure where to put this complaint/gripe. If this is moved, so be it.

To the gist, why can't Fed players, when they purchase Romualn Boffs off the Embassy, be allowed to change their uniforms, out of that gawd awful... well... puke green outfit, they are stuck in? At LEAST allow us players, Fed and KDF alike, I presume, (maybe the same for Romulan Faction players too, but uncertain there,) to allow us to change their uniforms, in the same manner as Romulan players can change Boff outfits, in such similar style.

Please let us get those particular boffs, out of their torrid outfits, made from overbinges on romulan ale, and trips to hurl it out, along afterwards? Please? And maybe while we are at it, allow the similar same allowable changes, to the Reman boffs, from the Vault FE series, along, the same boff lines, that Reman boffs are allowed, under Romulan player captains?

After living with em on my Assault A2B cruiser, for long since before LoR came out, I think I'm fed enough as it is, looking at them, as they are.

Bad enough that Boffs are missing from my bridges, after away missions, and from my Doff department assignments, going AWOL all over the place, anymore, without... muehh... 'that' green yuck, and all.

And with that, I return you, to your regularly scheduled ignoring of Fleet Miranda talk, and so forth... :)

Completely agree. As you say, allowing them to wear Romulan character outfits would be fine. This would be better actually for me as I'd quite like a Romulan Republic liaison officer on my crew.

I have a question for those of you who have the embassy boffs. Are they missing their faces as reported in the post below?

I don't have that problem, persay. (Acts alot like the EV suit bug, though this is even weirder then.)

I'd say reset the face parameters... oh wait, we can't huh. :(

There is a Fed & a KDF Romulan Uniform, I'd love to see the BOFFs wearing those uniforms.

But being able to edit them with even just the Romulan uniforms would be the best soloution.

Yes. That happens when you trade the boff to another player.

And it would probably be solved by letting us open them in the tailor with a reset button. I, too, would like to be able to put my Romulan boffs in the Republic's uniform.

I've been curious about this myself. I don't like the uniforms the Romulan Embassy BOFFs wear, and I'd like to change it but for some reason we're not allowed to. It's ridiculous. CRYPTIC, PLEASE LET US CHANGE THE EMBASSY BOFF's UNIFORMS!

Making another bump of this, just to ensure that this is one change, that REALLY should happen, at the danged least, for next Season's changes. Would like to see a Dev post on this one, cause... do I/we need to keep on saying it?

Probably should put in one of those Sig links for this, huh.

Both KDF & Fed cannot customize the Romulan Embassy BOFFs. It's the same as in with many unique BOFFs in the game: Jem'Hadar, Diplomat / Marauder BOFFs, etc.

You CAN trade these BOFFs for training and such, but when it is returned to you, the Romulan Embassy BOFFs' hair and feet disappear. And you cannot fix them at the tailor since you cannot modify them to begin with.

Makes one wonder if they are supposed to be traded, in the first place. This counts as unfair, in any shape or form, of the book here Devs.
