Cryptic Tell us what is going on??

We have been waiting for quite a while. ASAP doesn't cut it anymore we want an ETA!!!!!!

It would be nice, when it's clear that the outage is going to last more than a few minutes, to get some kind of ETA on the server's return. If I knew it wasn't coming up in the next hour, but was pretty sure it was coming up by say 6PM, I'd be at least 50% less frustrated.

For $2.95 they'll email you the expected uptime, for $3.95 they'll page you when the server comes up.

A few minutes? It's been down for hours already.

Maybe we should start reversing the charges on the lifetime charges to get there attention.

I think they are dead.

I agree with the OP. A communication blackout does not help.

Please, give us some information on what is going on and an ETA on when we can check back. This has gone on far longer than a simple equipment restart.

What's with this "WE" thing?

We are currently waiting on more people to buy lifetime subscriptions so that we can buy more Dell desktop systems off eBay.

And there you have it people...

LoL I am just curious who got the headstart, was it us or cryptic getting ready for the actual release date? Nothing new in a time where almost every mmo is released unfinished. Look at warhammer lol we beta tested that for 8months after release and they lost approx 600k users in first year, fired the lead designer and GM of Mythic less then a year into release. But hey they still sold prolly over 1 million copies on a game thats completely failed and prolly has about 100k player base. I just wonder anymore if its just about getting the initial sales out. :) Anyways from what ive seen of STO its been fun so far at least till next star wars mmo comes out. In th end anything is better then WoW.
