Compensation for lost and reduced game time please.......

Well the old patience is wearing thin, with the bad handling of this pre release.
Where the servers not load tested in beta. ?
How about compensating your loyal followers with some xp to make up for the hassle, lost and interuppted game time.
This time i thought was to reduce/spread the load on release day, as there would be server melt down otherwise.
Loyalty only lasts for so long before its a revolution, the klingons are ready and waiting for your blood.

There are only 50 or so levels (I forget exact number). Why do you need exp so fast? Gotta show off for the latecoming "release day nubs" who are all losers for starting 3 days after the pre-order insane addicts?

No. The serveres were stress tested in beta, so they would be nice and relaxed come Tuesday.

A few hours of unexpected owntime hardly warrants cries of 'compensation'.

If the server had fallen over for an extended period, a day or more for instance, then yes.

Compensation? Seriously? Technically you're not paying anything yet, so you're playing, or TRYING to, for free.

To the OP......

You are using this forum for free, this should be compensation enough for whatever brief downtimes there have been.

One thing I learned working in Customer service for many years, There are always people who want everything for free, or at a reduced rate because it isnt up to their standards...
I have not had any problems so far in game even got up and running at 10am on launch day. and Besides release isnt even here yet like a previous poster said you havnt paid anything yet...

Sounds like a lot of people have never played an MMO before.

Disconnects and server downtime are a fact of life -doesn't matter how long the game has been out. I remember playing **** 3 years after release and still get disconnects. Same thing with PotBS.

Yes, I want 80 days free at the end of my lifetime subscription! That way, when I die, I can say "Nope, sorry! I got 60 days coming from Cryptic. You gotta send me back."

Four outages lasting at least 2 hours. I don't know what the last one was, I gave up and went to sleep. So thats at MINIMUM 8 hours out of 48. That works out to roughly 17% of the playable time DOWN.

How would your boss feel if you only worked for 6-1/2 hours each day but he paid you to work for 8? Hmm? How long would it be before you got fired?
