Suggestion: Seperate servers for US/Europe

Hi Cryptic,

I would like to suggest that you seperate servers for europeans and americans. For the whole day for me (as a european) the server was performing great. Now, that the Americans log on the server turns to ****....

Cheers...

if they are too lazy/stoic/stupid to handle one server, dont ever tell them to run 2

Not going to happen but agree that they should have said Headstart as long as you do not try to log on between 17:00 and 23:: in europe

Regionalised servers is one of the worst thing introduced over the past few years. All they need to do is upgrade what they have.

The best thing they can do is make a EU server & a USA server,
split the load & also the fact that we dont have downtime in each others primetime!

My suggestion to Cryptic : *UPGRADE* your system, this is not a niche MMO, you are selling a AAA game, based upon one of the biggest scifi IP here. What did you expect ?

Eve online have years of experience with single shard server and it works great but i doubt they could host the numbers that try to play this game at prime time...and i just dont trust cryptic/atari has the experience for this.

Some people have been playing with European / Aussie Players in other games. To segregate servers by timezone/location would be bad for those people.

If new shards are needed it is better to open another general server, or perhaps two (one with open range PVP and another strict RP)
