But are quick to jump on cruiser players when all they want is to be able to make a half assed turn

U want a glass cannon without the glass part?

Im sensing huntards and rouges from WoW!

Now I don't know, because I have been DLing the game for the last 6+ hours, but I think they want a way to deal the DPS.

Like using WoW, a mage or warlock or any of the "glass cannons" have tools at their disposal to make it so they can at least try to deal their damage before getting creamed.

From what I read, and this is could be wrong.
In PVE things are fine for the escorts.
In PVP everyone focus fires the escorts so they can never deal their damage.

Again using WoW, for whatever reason a damage deal that never got off a spell or a hit is a useless class.
Either it is a balance issue, or bad player's issue.

Considering it seems pretty clear cut that Escorts have the DMG, and can't take DMG and don't have the tools to do anything to allow them to deal the damage... seems like a classic MMO balance issue.

edit: I am not saying a defense buff is the solution BTW, just the basic request is, "Implement a way so that in pvp and am not a pretty explosion in the first few moments of combat". A very basic way to help with that would be to make them more explosion proof, but I am sure there are more creative, and fitting ways to achieve balance for this issue.

I dont remeber asking for a defense buff ?

as for your cruiser theres plenty of ways to get higher turnrate, not to mention theres skills with low cooldown you can get that also adds it.

I've been advocating cruiser turn buffs for a while, its sad when my escort can do donuts smaller than the size of a t3+ cruiser but it takes the cruiser 4 minutes to make a 360

I guess when trying to come up with the turn radius for the cruisers they looked up the USS Enterprise, the aircraft carrier. As oppose to the Starship Enterprise that could pivot around asteroids when needed.

Dont see hows thats sad... the escort Is supposed to be agile while the cruiser Is supposed to be Massive.

For the way the cruiser turns now, it should have three times the power, it should be as strong as the klingon mobile hanger ships, buts its not, so it needs its buffs

no1 is top lvl yet and both cruiser and escorts are fine pve wise, but at top lvl pvp they have 2 do something like maybe buff using envoriment as a shield and so on, more tactical choices and less dps/tank things... and maybe its fine at top lvls we just dont know go t6 then start whining.

a large part of the problem is the escorts get creamed by cloaked bops which is the Klingon equivalent too the escort a lot. Imho charged particle burst which is the only cloak counter I can think of atm is too short range too be really useful.

Actually i want better avoidance through speed and a aggro reduce and not Sci Shields with Cruiser Hull.
