Never plan on doing a bringing supply quest.

Whoevers idea it was to remove replicator creating these item functionality I just want to say "good call." As much fun as it is playing UPS driver I'll pass.

I have to agree, though you can find it at traders it is a bit..meh that your startship cant replicate this stuff.
And yes it was in beta, but removed for gods know why, if i get em again i will just delete them and try my luck again on another system.

ya at 400 credits a pop so 4k credits and no place to buy them while you are there is very stupid
Just drop the mission and go for another

I kind of have a weird take on this. I love exploration missions. So, I carry a stock of the regularly requested supplies. It's quite nice to get instant completion/rewards, but now that it's been mentioned, yeah, it's quite expensive. I rarely buy anything else though, so I guess I just didn't care about that. Also, some of the lower tier supplies can be traded in at some merchants for higher tier ones, so I'm not worried about the stuff I carry around going to waste.

I liked it better when I could replicate it ... I am not one to go scurrying around trying to find 10 of somesuch to deliver to some planet or carry that stuff around just in case.

I attempted only one of them before deciding to just 'drop' the mission... its a pain in the ass to twiddle your thumbs while you fly to an area where you can actually buy the damn commodities.

Just warp out as soon as you see you got one, saves time and braincells.

Biggest issue is the number of commodities, and their relatively low spawn rates. It eats too much inventory space to hang onto them, and too long to get enough that you'd actually be able to finish a mission w/o the need to make a round trip to a trader to get the stuff.

I drop them immediately. Just not worth the effort.

Not to mention the cost vs. reward is way out of wack. 4k energy credits for a few skill points? It's faster to just camp deep space encounters for skill points.
