trying to break the 10k DPS mark

Hers what I have on my HEC:

Fore: 3 Fleet AP DHC [dmgx2] [accx2]
Fleet Elite Quantum torp

Aft: Voth AP Turret mkXII
Kinetic Cutting Beam
Omni Directional AP Beam (ive replaced with another AP turret, and this does more damage)

MKX Borg Deflector and Engines
mkXII Maco Shield

Fleet Elite Plasma Warp Core (w->s)(amp)

Device: Subspace Field Mod, AP turrets

Eng: MkXII Neutronium Alloy, Isometric Charge, Assimilated Module
Sci: Tachyokinetic Converter, Zero Point module
Tac: 2 Fleet AP Locators (+crtiD), 1 Fleet exploiter (+critH) and a mkXII AP Mag (gonna get swapped out for another Fleet AP Locator when i have the credits)

Tac Boff: Cmdr: TT1, APB1, CSV2, APO3
Lt: TT1, CSV1
Ens; TS1

Eng Boff: EPTW1, EPTS2, Aux2sif2
Sci: PH1, HE2

Power Levels: 125/100
76/45
50/30
45/25

Also running 2 Damage Control Engineer doffs for the cooldown to EPTX, 1 Warp Core Engineer to boost power levels, A Projectile Doff to cooldown the torps and an Energy Weapon Doff to cooldown the cannons. All are at least blue, with a couple of them being purps.

My problem is this: I cant break the 10kDps mark. I consistently get between 8k and 9k with some spikes going up to 20k. My Crit Chance is 12.1% Base, and Crit Severity is 89% base. This seems like a pretty solid build, and i know it has the potential for more DPS. I have good positioning on ISE to hit lots of spheres with CSV, and power levels to boot, but i just cant pull it off.

Try swapping the AP turrets in your device slot for a stack of weapon batteries, spam them, and try again. ;)

Get an engineer captain to train EPTW3. Use your eng slots as EPTS1,DEM2, EPTW3

Very simply drop the torp. Go 4 DHC'S up front and you'll get over 10k.

Swap the torp for another cannon
Swap omega for another beta
Swap aux2sif2 to eptw3
Swap epts2 to aux2sif1
Swap eptw1 to epte1
Swap projectile doff for another damage control doff
Cannon doff isn't helping at all

If desperate swap everything to beams and swap csv to bfaw.

Cheers

You're never on when I'm on. And I haven't gotten a friend request yet either.

Figured I'd meet ya and have a few go's

I'll get the invite sent next time I'm in game.

And if you don't get one. My wife went into labour

Oh well that just might be more important. Congratulations and good luck

i might add, that while possible to do in a PUG ISE run, i'd recommand a premade grp of people that all do around 10k dps
That will shorten the encounter duration and this means your dmg dealt divided by the time of the encounter is your DPS.
The shorter the encounter duration, the higher your DPS.

ran a ISE PUG with my "normaly" 12-13k dps khyzom tac captain and it took 8-9 minutes, simply because i had to do everything. 3.8 million dmg dealt in that time resulted in about 8k dps "only"
With a good PUG and or atleast 2 good captains in the grp you do ISE in half that time, resulting in >10k dps.

so setup is obviously important, but the duration of the encounter is too. That means bad grp = bad dps for everybody when parsed with ACT. Encounter DPS <> DPS

Yeah join a group of high dps people to inflate your own dps so you can feel good about your build.
