About the spanish way of getting the surnames...

Spanish people have two surnames, the first one comes form the father and the second one from the mother. I'll put an example and it should be clear:

Father: Pedro Lopez Ramirez
Mother: Maria Diaz Perez
Son: Jose Lopez Diaz

Pedro, Maria and Jose are the names, of course, and the son inherits the first surname of each parent.

I guess this is not important at all, but i wrote it just for the curious ones.
