I have played for about 2 years, so I wasn't there for the beginning. For me 1.5 years ago or so was the "old days". What do I miss? Hmm..

- Doing ground pvp with my fleet. lolground I know, but it was more fun then many space pvpers give it credit for.

- Being able to level a character and not have to worry about grinding rep, fleet gear, etc, for a month after getting the character leveled.

- Being in control of my ship for more then half a match. May be exaggerated, but sci/console spam is very potent these days.

What don't I miss?

- The Jem'Hadar Attack Ship being basically the only escort in the game. It was either fly that, or be at a distinct disadvantage if you wanted to play the role of damage dealer. And since most players didn't have hundreds of millions of energy credits lying around the choice was already made up.
