COLOR="Yellow"]Within this thread, I would like forum members to post Help & Support information that they believe to be useful for other players intending to create a Fleet or for those who have previously created a Fleet and require additional help.[/color]

Creating a Fleet.

To create a Fleet you need a 5 player team in the same map and in the same instance, then the team leader needs to talk to the Feet Ambassador, she has grey hair, wearing blue and is located in the Personnel Section of Earth Space Dock, that's in the North East wing.

Joining a Fleet.

Players can join a Fleet via a Fleet invite from another player or alternatively, a character that the player has created and has used to join a Fleet or create a Fleet, can send a Fleet invite to the alternate charcters that the player has created.

Joining a Fleet by accepting a Fleet invite or creating a Fleet does not effect every character the player has created and that means that the player is not effected on a account wide level.

Adjusting Fleet Settings / Permissions.

Once you have created your Fleet, you can then open the Fleet window. You can access the Fleet Window by clicking on More which has a downward facing Triangle icon, it's located under Help & Support which has a Question Mark icon and both are located to the right of the mini area map.

Once you have opened up the Fleet window, you will see 5 clickable tabs, the last but one is named Settings, click on this tab. You can name your Fleet here (Top Left) and you will see 7 Ranks (Middle Left), these Ranks can be renamed. When clicking on Ranks #1 through #7 you will see the Rank Permissions on the right, these Permissions can be edited for each Rank by checking the boxes.
  • Rename Rank - Allows members to Rename Ranks.
  • Set Look - Allows members to add and remove Fleet Uniforms.
  • Rename - Allows members to Rename the Fleet and the Fleet Description.
  • Set Permission - Allows members to Set and Unset Permissions for Fleet Ranks.
  • Set MOTD - Allows members to Set the Messege of the Day.
  • Officer Chat - Allows members to use Officer Chat.
  • Chat - Allows members to use Fleet Chat.
  • Demote At Rank - Allows members to Demote members to Any Rank.
  • Demote Below Rank - Allows members to Demote members of lower Rank, to Ranks below their own Rank.
  • Promote To Rank - Allows members to Promote members to Any Rank.
  • Promote Below Rank - Allows members to Promote members of lower Rank to Ranks below their own Rank.
  • Remove - Allows members to Remove members from the Fleet.
  • Invite - Allows members to Invite members to the Fleet.
  • Rename Bank Tab - Allows members to Rename Fleet Bank Tabs.
  • Buy Bank Tab - Allows members to Purchase Fleet Bank Tabs, costing 1,233,000.
  • Set Bank Permission - Allows members to set Permissions for each Fleet Bank Tab, what can and can not be deposited aswell as Withdrawn.

IMPORTANT NOTE.

Fleet Rank Permissions were previously bugged, the Patch released on the 18th of Febuary, 2010 has exterminated the bug, Fleet Rank Permissions now work as intended.

Adding Fleet Uniforms.

Once you have created your Fleet, you can then open the Fleet window. You can access the Fleet Window by clicking on More which has a downward facing Triangle icon, it's located under Help & Support which has a Question Mark icon and both are located to the right of the mini area map.

Once you have opened up the Fleet window, you will see 5 clickable tabs, the last is named Uniforms, click on this tab. At the lower left corner of the screen you will see the Add Uniform button, if you click on this, you will be asked to name the Uniform that you are about to add and you are allowed to choose either the uniform you are wearing or one of your saved uniforms.

What it doesn't tell you straight away, is that you can not add off-duty or unlocked uniform pieces (such as the Upper TOS Uniform, the Lower TOS Cutoffs, Lower TOS Skirts, the Upper DS9 Series Uniform or Upper TNG Series Uniform) for all your fleet members to use and this also includes Combadges, Ranks and anything else that is classed as Unocked, but you can use any default stock uniform pieces for your Fleet Uniforms.

So before you attempt to add a Fleet Uniform, go to the Cardassian Tailor and talk to him, he is located in the Requisitions Section of Earth Space Dock, that's in the South West wing. Save your current outfit and then modify it to be your Fleet Uniform, but remember not to use any unlockable pieces. Purchase your new outfit and add it to your Fleet, how you do that is mentioned above and note that you can add multiple Uniforms to your Fleet.

A player who wishes to use a Fleet Uniform needs to go to a Tailor, click modify, save outfit and then click next twice. You will see a new uption at the top of the customize the uniform options allowing the player to choose a Fleet Uniform.

After adding a Fleet Uniform you will see a number of check boxes, beside these check boxes are the Fleet Ranks, these check boxes open and close access to the Uniforms for your Fleet members.
