So will anyone be playing a romulan as well as Klingon?

I'd roll a Romulan so I can hear the Feds howl in disbelief when my Warbird decloaks and alpha strikes them to oblivion
Massive decloaking alpha strikes is how the Romulans play, especially the more powerful vessels.
There are 2 ships that I want from their lineup: D'Deridex and Valdore classes.
The Valdore is seen in Star Trek: Nemesis, the ones that helped the Ent-E against the Reman Warbird. Love the look of that ship and how modders in other Star Trek games have implemented those ships.
The D'Deridex is a no brainer. For TNG era ships, it is easily by far the most commonly shown Romulan warship. Big, powerful, sluggish, but devastating power, all of which can be concealed in a cloaking device.
Speaking of cloaking, Romulan cloaks are known to be the best.
With these in mind, I'm guessing from a KDF perspective, the differences between KDF & Romulan ships will be:
1) Tougher Romulan hulls
2) Utterly sluggish maneuverability with the more advanced, larger ships. The battle that crippled the Tal Shiar and Obsidian Order saw the poor performance of Warbirds with no support / cover against the numerous Jem'Hadar attack ships.
3) Deadly frontal arcs, poor rear weapons.
4) Heavy reliance on Escorts / Light Cruisers to cover the flanks and rear of the powerful but front heavy Warbirds.
I can readily see a Romulan PvP team at T4/T5 with D'Deridex ships as the core, soaking the punishment and dealing a deadly frontal attack, while the light ships cover the vulnerable flanks and rear of the big Warbirds. The opposition is dancing to stay away from the front of the Warbirds.
If there ever is implemented PvP maps to destroy a large objective (i.e. starbase), Romulans would be VERY nasty in that regard.
