Its really a problem of expectations on my end.
When I think of Utopia Planitia I think of a sprawling busy shipyard in close mars orbit.
If the mission essentially had a "horizon" of space with a slightly curved mars "ground" like in the image I posted it would of been perfect. Im not sure if thats possible in the game engine but that would lend itself to a real sense of scale, despite the distance mar feels more like a random moon then a huge body in space.
I have the same problem with ESD, with the scale that its at now ESD looks like its the size of several countries rather then orbiting space station. Even with how large the Current ESD is, taking the galaxy class as a sampling size, It still feels like your in the land of the giants to me.
The mission at Utopia Planitia was fun and the model looked cool but it still felt off to me because of the size inconsistency.
