Yes this is coming.

The ability to fail a mission also which in effect is an alternate path, doing nothing or doing it wrong.

I personally need a timer for my first mission, on which the expiry could trigger failure if the player has not acheived objectives. Not even sure if that has been done by Cryptic but I need to create a touch of pressure in my mission.
