And the term trolling, as applied to the internet, outdates 'phishing' by at least a decade. I first saw the term in use on BBS boards, back in the late 80's.
You'd think trolling on the 'net would be referred to as 'trawling', as that's the fishing method that involves a net....

Or would forum mods be 'troll-trawlers'?
