Try waiting for the code to turn yellow, and then press it (quickly). Timing is critical here, or else you might have go looking for a new input code to try again.

The input code must match part of the randomly-changing lock combination.

If unlocking the door isn't the issue...watch for something that looks like two interconnecting doors!
