Okay so I know the Universal Translator does the majority of the interspecies communication. However when the translator is malfunctioning or new syntax algorhythms are incorporated or forwarded back to SF doesn't it still fall to the communications officer to prepare and submit the report to the captain?

I just think my question is (and I've had my ideas/questions answered before so I'm pretty comfortable asking...) Will we eventually get a Communications Officer Specialty?! I have my own designated Caitian 'Uhura' in my BOFF's it be nice to give her an earpiece, TOS style that unique to her position... Plus it'd awesome to have Communications Officer be a real In-game that has a 1% Diplomacy boost if in assigned party or some other mechanics that are relavant as the specialty... :p
