The Light Cruiser is an interesting ship and it's one that is immediately outclassed by pretty much any other ship in the game.


So I'd like to suggest a higher tier version, specifically, the Soyuz Class. I think it'd be an interesting mix of cruiser and tactical roles- not nearly as bulky as a cruiser, but not as fast or as combat oriented as an escort.


Also, the Soyuz design is awesome, and I really think it'd be a disservice to just make it another skin for the Miranda.
