Now don't get me wrong, I'm a diehard Trekkie (notice I did not say Trekker) and I love the series to death, I don't see anything wrong with a ship design like the Jupiter. It could be a prototype, a new design because of the manyfold threats the Federation faces. With the ever growing war and turmoil, Starfleet could use a ship that is tougher and larger than anything it's put out before. The Jupiter is just what I'd imagine that ship to be.

As for the graphical changes that need to be done, I agree whole heartedly with you. There are a plethora of things that need to be changed before the Jupiter becomes playable, and I believe it will be renovated before it's player launch.
  1. Lower hull section MUST be wider in comparison to the saucer section above it.
  1. The nacelles and suporting pylons need to be bulkier and slightly closer to the ship, also the nacelles should be slightly more apart
  1. It needs a polish, make it look like a playable ship and finish up the graphical issues it has.

The Jupiter has been floating around since the beginning of the game, I hope we'll see it come out soon.

You didn't offend me, I've heard MUCH worse from people about this. Even to the point of off-site slurs and such. Good times!
My argument is that, Federation (war)ships shouldn't look like the Love Boat...
